We experienced a case of purulent erythema nodosum leprosum (ENL), which was
interesting in the view of onset and clinical features, in a 68-year-old female patient.
The lesion started after 16 months of antileprous medication as a single dome-shaped
or annular, tender nodule limited on the forehead, mimicking an abscess or a Sweet's
syndrome.
8 months after the initiation of the forehead lesion, multiple, purulent, erythematous,
tender nodules recurrently developed on the face and the extremities, especially on the
upper extremities.
